remington accutips

i was shooting these in a 450 bushmaster and was getting good groups and some poor.
I figured it was me but the Winchester stuff i was shooting was working well.

I was shooting indoors and went to clean up and i found some of the tips part way to the target!
Im thinking this is what caused the problem, has anyone else shot these things and had problems?

Wouldn't the tips bounce off the backstop? Where would you expect to find them?

the little tip should stay on the bullet until in the target.

Remington is taking them back to look at them.

Don't you normally get 'splatter' from a rifle shooting it indoors? isn't it possible the tips bounced back after the bullet denigrated on the backstop?

it was a trap so normally they are stuck in there with the rest of the bullet.
