Can anyone measure the outside diameter of a 9 1/2M magnum primer?
I'm interested in buying some but I found a primer chart that concerns me about the O.D.

Also, are the primer cups harder / thicker than regular LR primers?
Further, is anyone using these as their primary Magnum primer? Lastly, how they compare in braisence (hotness) with other Mag primers?

Thanks guys.

Thanks Feenix, I believe you prefer these in one of your rifles (300wsm???)

Do you feel it is a lot easier to seat these compared to say 215 or 250 ?

I just bought 300 once fired Lake City 7.62 cases and had to uniform the primer pockets to get the Remington 9 1/2 to seat below flush. I normally uniform my primer pockets and I was hoping the LC cases would have deeper primer pockets and not have to remove as much brass.

I thought this strange because I have a military drawing for the LC 7.62 case. And the drawing shows the primers to be .008 below flush.
