Remington 722 scope base screw size

Does anyone know the scope base screw size on a Remington 722 SA? I would think it is 6 x 48 and not 8 x 40 since it is an older design, but not 100% sure. Too bad i threw out the old screws when I stripped the gun for the rebuild. Should have thought of this sooner.

Should be 6-48 unless someone opened them up.
