I have a brand new Remington 700 Stainless Sendero SF II. This is the model with the HS Precision stock, jeweled bolt, heavy flutes, 26" heavy contour barrel, and BDL-type bottom metal.
The HS Precision stock features an aluminum bedding block and free floats the barrel in its entirety.
This rifle is brand new - unfired. I bought it to use as a project gun, but things have lead me in other directions.
The MARS rail is the same rail that is used on the Army M24 sniper rifle. It is perfect for mounting accessories, NV and/or thermal optics forward of your day scope.
