I just got a700 sps 223,It has a 20" bull barrel. It comes with a Hogue pillar bedded stock and the new trigger. Any body else have one of these? if so what the best load, you tyried so far? gun)

Don't know for sure with yours, but my SPS .223 with a 26" barrel has a 1-14 twist. Shoots up to 60-65 grain bullets well, but is an absolute dream with 55 NBT's. Shoots em fast and leaves little tiny holes in the paper at 200 yds.

Nobody else has anything to say about these? Any body know what twist the barrel is?

The twist is 1/9 with the 20" heavy barrel.

I have one put away for me at the gun shop, I'm probably going to get it. I did a bunch of research on them and apparently they shoot good, anything from 50 to 77gr bullets.
