I have a lightly used 700 Mountain rifle. It has a Bell and Carlson stock on it. I used it for two days on my goat hunt. It has a few scratches on the barrel that I have provided a picture of. Retails for around $1000 +. Will take $800 shipped to an FFL dealer.

It's shot great. I shot hypersonic factory ammo and had about a 3/4" 5 shot group. Shot my goat at 467 with one shot. It has just under a box of ammo through it. About 18 rounds.

Great rifle still for sale. 1200 invested, shipped to FFL of your choice for $800.

What does it weigh as it sits? Do they have 22' or 24' barrels? Any idea on velocity with given weight?

It has a 22" barrel and weighs 6.5lbs. Add an ounce or two for the bases. I do not know what velocity it was running as I never chronographed it.

OK. Thanks. I was eyeing up a Tikka superlight and was hoping this would be close weight wise, but it's noticeably heavier.

Thanks and good luck!
