Remington (700?) mags

Pile in on this request, please. I've built a tactical style varmiter using Boyds, Savage and McGowen components (among others). All has fitted nicely - except that I would like to have ten round mag capacity to fit Savage bottom metal. Read a post once that detailed manner in which Rem 700 10 rnd mag could be successfully adapted to fit. Ads I've seen are listing stamped and rolled 10 rd mag boxes for $130.00. Assinine!
