Just wanted to let anybody interested in this caliber (.260 Remington) that there's a good deal (IMHO) on this particular rifle ongoing at grabagun. Just do a google search for "remington 700 magpul 260" and you should be able to find it. I just got it in my hands from my FFL (ordered it Monday, got here yesterday and picked it up this morning); there's also a $100 rebate going on (hopefully that'll be honored given the bankruptcy). I'll post some pics later on. I'm not trying to promote anything, just wanted to let people interested in this particular caliber...

Also, the 700 Magpul models have 5R rifling and threaded barrels, like the 5R Milspec models. Which is a big plus. Their factory 5R barrels are very high-quality.
Here are some pictures; the one in the middle is the new one (left is an Armalite AR-10 / on the right is a Savage BA-10 Stealth). Yes it is a 5R, forgot to mention; it also came with butt-stock extending pieces and two more risers for the cheek risers, which surprised me (I didn't expect the cheek risers to be in the box).

In case anyone is interested in reloading dies for 260 REM, midwayusa has the L. E. Wilson set, FL bushing sizing + micrometer bullet seater (needs arbor press) + case gauge for $87. I just got one delivered and it looks really good, especially for the price.
