This is the model w/ the 24" heavy barrel.

Action serial number is an A-prefix.

Barrel Date code: AO (March of 1977)

This gun is a collector for me and therefore I have not shot it, although the rifling looks very sharp. It is in very good condition w/ only a few minor marks on the stock (as shown in the pictures). Bluing is good w/ only a small ring of bluing worn from the outside diameter portion of the muzzle. Crown is in excellent condition. Bolt cycles smoothly and loading and extraction of snap caps is also very smooth and positive. Trigger is light and crisp and feels about 2 pounds. Scope mount IS INCLUDED.

Yes, these are notoriously accurate rifles. I actually have another BDL Varmint Special in 243 from the early 1990s that drives nails. +1 for old Remmys.

The gun is sold pending funds (SPF). I looked over the classified rules and didn't see anything that required the selling price to remain in the post if the gun has sold. If i am incorrect then i can put the selling price back in.
