remington 300 ultra mag power level 3

When the RUM came out power level 1 was 30-06 velocity. Power level 2 was 300 WM velocity. Power level 3 was RUM velocity. Not sure what powder was used.

Not sure why anyone would need whatever power level 3 means but I promise you NO ANIMAL ON EARTH can take a vital area hit from a normal. 300UM load and survive more than a few seconds....

I didn't even know the offered the " power level" ammo any more

Level 3 was "regular" 300 rum ammo
Level 2 was down loaded to 300wm
Level 1 was downloaded even more to 30-06

It's not offered anymore , I have a bunch of because it shoots incredibly well in my rifle . I'm trying to identify the exact powder they used in the 180 swift scirroco load so I can't try and duplicate it at some point .

Pull a bullet and look at the powder and weight it. It may not be a canister powder that's even available. From pulling down a bunch of 300 rum years ago it looked like Magpro to me. But that may have just been that specific lot.
