I was an avid Shooter before many on the Long Range Hunting web site were born. If you are interested in reading about hunting, shooting, and reloading, Bob Hagel was one of the best. He died in Decembet 2005 but his books live on. Many shooters today could learn a thing or two from his writings. Everything he wrote was tried and true. Between the 1970s and 1990s I had the pleasure to talk to Bob on numerous occasions. He was as well versed about rifles, hunting, reloading, and ballistics as anyone. Just was reflecting and my thoughts were of Bob Hagel.

Bob lived near me and I talked to him many times. Great "gun" guy. Have a nice pair of pistol grips he made.
