Remage and HNT26

I'm looking at setting up a Rem 700 to use as a remage. I would like to eventually get an mdt hnt26. However, I want to make sure I use a recoil lug now that will eventually work as I intend to have the lug pinned.

1. Has anyone had any issues with using a .250" thick recoil lug with remage barrels? I will be using a bugnut.

2. How thick of a recoil lug can the mdt hnt 26 chassis accept? Does it accept a .250" thick rem 700 lug? Does the lug have to be thinner like the .185" factory?

I haven't handled this particular one- but other MDT chassis have almost .400 clearance for lugs IIRC.
You'll have no problem with a .250 lug.
