Knee surgery coming up and I would like to thin out a couple projects.. I was going to rebarrel this rifle to a 338 rum. THERES NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS BARREL AT ALL. When I bought it, I took it straight to my smith and he said it looks like it had been fired very little so that's why it didn't get rebarreled... The guy I bought it from had it built and just wanted something lighter after a few trips out.
The barrel is a 28" + the brake
Broughton 1:10 twist Rem varmint contour
Bell and Carlson m40 stock.
Stainless bottom metal and action
Action has been trued up
It runs slick as glass....
Wyatts bottom metal
Timney 510 trigger
Not positive what the brake is, somebody may can help with this.
the rifle is 9lb 9oz on my scale
I have shot the rifle about 10 times with 165 nosler partition factory ammo. Shot pretty well.Little over an inch shooting off of a folded up shirt off of the bed of the truck lol. I didn't take pics as I stated I fully intended on rebarreling this rifle but need to send a few projects down the rd at the moment...

If someone's looking for project ideas, this gun would be a great nosler cartridge build too. Since the RUM is longer than the nosler rounds, you might be able to run long OAL on the nosler without doing an extended box, plus, the bolt face is already the same!

I truly would've bought this already if I didn't buy a gun just a couple weeks ago. But... due to the election, the place I bought it from still hasn't shipped it out yet. I don't mind waiting on this. So if the gun I bought doesn't ship by next Tuesday or so I'll cancel that guns order and PM you.
