SOLD/EXPIRED Rem 700 PSS 300WM

The matte parkerizing definitely looks like a PSS but I have never seen a PSS come in that stock, I've owned a dozen of them. I bet somewhere along the line the stock was switched. Just my input, either way its a nice barreled action in a nice stock.

New, never fired by owner safe queen.
Remington 700 PSS 300 Win Mag. This one has a black and grey HS Precision stock instead of the usual all black. Ships in a hard case to lower 48 $1350.00
Not a certainty bout the actual model but it is for sure a HS stock. They used them on Senderos and police tactical and just a 308 heavy barrel 700 back in the day.
Ive owned a bunch of senderos and all were fluted. With the new trigger, it looks like a hvy sps or other modern model someone put in a $300 HS Precision Stock. Every PSS rifle Ive seen has two fore end sling mounts and uses the wide fore end HS stock. Remington did mix and match on occasions but that rifle doesn't appear to be a standard Police Sharp Shooter in photos. If it is they are great shooters.

Here's a photo of a brand new original HS Gen 1 Rem 700 stock I'm holding for a build. Note the colors. There is no doubt about the stock being Gen 1 HS

all of these are HS stocks. In 5E67 left to right a 2004ish 338 RUM sendero new I had Dave Tooley tweak and teflon. 2nd from left is a SA HS stock, 3rd is an original Police 700 that came in 308 and is now a 300 SAUM. Note the wide fore end, two sling mount holes and palm swell. 4th is a Christensen Carbon One that came on 300RUM. ITs now a 28" Proof barreled 300 PRC I actually finished 20 minutes ago.
I bought every one originally from Rem or Chris so I know for certain what and when they are.
There were some variations in color but....
The gun in this thread has a Gen 1 HS stock. That does mean its not what the seller claims. Remember, Rem was in Bankruptcy for years and without naming names, they used up a lot of old NOS inventory during that time. They also put guns together for large dealer/buyers that were Frankenstein builds and not generally available to the public. I suspect this gun is one of those and probably legit despite the obvious discrepancies.

PS: I cerakoted the two in camo

Were they making that trigger in the rifle 10 years ago?
Not in its current form. Think originally it was introduced 2007-8is but had to remove action to adjust as I recall. So there are different gens of it.
