Rem 700 dbm

Not sure if this is the right place to post but figured I'd get the most responses here.

I'm getting a Remington 700 long action in the 7max, I am wanting to run mags if possible. I've seen some people state they use 338 lapua mags. Do these fit in the long action dbms for long action or would I need a 338 dbm?
Just wanting to get the right set up the first time. Thanks y'all.

Get a Hawkins CIP length DBM

the standard long action DBM takes 300wm magazines and they're about .100" shorter than the CIP mags IIRC
