Rem 700 and Ring Hgt

I have a PSS and a LTR in .308 that need rings/scopes. I have gotten conflicting reports on what is needed to mount a 30mm Leupold with 50mm obj and Butler Creek scope covers. I have a set of 30mm high but before I buy another set to finish the LTR off I wanted to make sure. I have seen Medium, High and Super High listed in various places. Also I am considering the Leupold 20 MOA base for the PSS for the day when I rebarrel it for something hotter. Does that change the ring height necessary also?
