Rem 700 280AI / Leupold Mark 4

I have for sale a Remington 700 280 Ackley Improved. The barrel is a 25" PacNor #4 with a 1/9 twist, the action is trued with a Jewel trigger. Round count is 784 with 250 of the rounds being reduced shotgun powder fire forming loads. The stock is a Grayboe black with gray webbing, full aluminum bedding block that has been epoxy bedded and BDL bottom metal. Base is a Leupold Mark 4 20MOA with TPS 30mm rings. Scope is a Leupold Mark 4 6.5-20x50mm M5 with First Focal Plain model 110076. This hunting rifle package is very well maintained and in very good condition showing little field use. Total weight is 11.2 pounds. Pet load for this rig is as follows;


58.3 grains Reloder 23 – Norma 280 brass (fire formed) – Berger 168 grain Classic Hunter seated at 2.800" to ogive – Federal 215M primer – for 2970 FPS


This rifle shoots ½" groups at 200 yards and has been a solid 800-yard performer for me (only because 800 yds. is my furthest range I have to shoot!) I have answered all posts and e-mails as of this morning - I believe??? -LOL
I have added some additional photos for some questions I have received;
1. Yes, the barrel is 25", measured from lug to muzzle.
2. The muzzle measures .7250".
3. Yes, the Vortex bubble level will be included.
4. Yes, the Jewell trigger has the bolt release.
5. The scope is a First Focal Plain w/ M5 turret in Mills.
6. No, there is no brass/dies with this sale. I have two other 280AI's I load for.
7. Until I have an FFL holder's address I can not estimate insurance.
8. Yes, I would consider holding the rifle until after the Holidays -ONLY- with a 50% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit.
