Reloading for the new gun

I am receiving a 300. wsm browning a-bolt on Sunday and I want to set up so new loads for it. So far i see most people reloading Berger, Nosler and Barnes. Most populars grains would be the 165 and 180. I will be shooting moose, black bear, and caribou mainly from ranges out to 500 yards but as close as possible. I want a good long range bullet, as well as close. Now most people suggest Barnes but there also expensive. I have had a couple people suggest the Nosler Accubonds and i have heard great things about them weather there shooting the 180 or 200 grain. What do you suggest?

buy a box of each and shoot what works best for your rifle. My rifle won't shoot 165 gr class bullets nearly as well as it shoots a 180 Nosler ab just as an example, yet others have great luck w/ 150's and 165's. Personally I would never go past 200 grain w/ the wsm due to the case restrictions. I think the Tangent ogive bullets may shoot a little better if you can not seat to the lands w/ your magazine length.

Not to highjack the thread but how do the Bergers perfom on large, heavy boned animals ie Elk and moose ?
