Reloading belted mags.

I load for belted cases just like any other and that usually means neck sizing only with a Lee Collet die that has been polished and prepped. Haven't noticed any detrimental effects.

Reloading belted magnum cases is "almost" like loading non-belted rifle calibers. However, after your cases are reloaded two or three times, these cases swell above the belt. This almost always causes your cases to fit tight enough to cause problems. No conventional resizing die can solve this problem.

Our Belted Magnum Collet Resizing Die has a case width gauge on top that shows you when this "extra" resizing step is needed. Without our die your belted cases will almost always stick in your chamber soon AFTER the first few loadings.
