Reloading advice for .243 using IMR 4064 for 108gr ELD match

The Sierra Manual link I provided has a load using 107 SMK and IMR 4064. It's lower velocity and a different bullet so there is a risk using the data. You be better served finding a different powder if you're looking for velocity.

Bottom line is 4064 is too fast burning for bullets in the weight range you have. You cannot get enough in the case to get a velocity you would find suitable. If that is all you have it will make the gun go boom ,but probably with poor performance. You need a different powder.

Or a bullet that is in range for the powder you have .. changing bullet to even a 90gr .. can be found and bought and shippes without hassle

you might try changing to a lighter bullet and go with a premium bullet like Hammer Hunter bullets in the 88 grain I am currently working on that for my 6 Creed if the wind here ever lays down a bit
