redfield scopes. question

anyone own a redfield revolution? how does it compare to a leupold vx2? i looked thro both in store and preferred the redfield. the reticle seemed a bit bolder. just wondering if its good glass

I have:
Redfields - multi
Leupolds - multi
Sightrons - multi

2 B&L one old that used a BalVar mount external elevation and windage. One 4200 Elite same as a Bushnell 4200 Elite just older.

Someday my buddy will deliver my Weaver T36 for the BR rifle.

and AirRifle scopes.

I like my Redfield as much as any of them. Different attributes each but each has its nitch. Redfields are solid as Leupold. Oh yeah, same company now.

Basic advice: go with the one you like. If that is the Revenge over the VX-2 because of the reticule then so be it.

actually i found a deal on a meopta meopro 3-9x42 and went that route
