I just got a new set of redding fl dies for my 7mm rem mag and I followed the directions about not using a crimp and to screw the die one full turn out but my question is should my press go all the way up because at the moment it stops before making a full stroke. The seating seems fine but Im new to redding dies and not using the crimping deal?

Nevermind..... Im such an Idiot! When I took them apart to clean them before use it put the wrong ones together! Well I guess I have a new question. Did I just ruin $50 worth of brass. There is a tiny crimp on the mouths of the cases. Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe not.
If you screw your full length sizer out 1 full turn, you can neck size that crimp away. If the brass is already primed, pull the decapping pin out.

You will probably need to anneal this brass a little sooner than otherwise but no other problems I can think of from here.

good shooting
