Recoil Pad Jig

I want to buy a jig to grind recoil pads off the stock. What is a good one to buy?

I have been using a B&R Recoil pad jig for over 10 years now. It is easy to use and set the recoil pad angles. You can fit a pad pretty quickly with this tool. Take a look at one on Brownells website.

Do you cut your rifle stocks so they have a neutral pitch?

I have been using the same B Square jig for 27yrs., along with my 12"disc sander. Much depends upon the skill of the user, regardless of which jig you might choose.

Yes, I do cut the stock with a neutral pitch unless the client specifies the positive or negative pitch that best fits them.
