Rebarreling a 338 Barret?

I Have a friend who wants to put a aftermarket barrel on his barret 338 Lapau. I know what the very first question is that everyone wants to know. Why? I think the main reason is he wants a longer barrel to get his velocities up. He is considering a shilen.Does anyone Know very much about these barrels and do they even make a barrel for the barret rifles.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks

I am in the process of rebarreling my 338 Lapua, 98B Barrett.
It seems to be fairly straight forward.
I can't get a NZ made barrel as they are .5mm to small in diameter.
So I'm getting an Aussie one
I'm getting two made, a 1-10 & 1-7.5 so that should be interesting.
I'm keeping the length & profile the same as original, so it fits in the case
I would like to get another barrel extension, but I'm having trouble getting a response from Barrett
