Rebarrel Tikka T3 Tac

I have a Tikka T3 Tac in 308 and am considering rebarreling to 6.5 Creedmoor. Anybody know a good gunsmith who can do this work?

Not all gunsmiths do metric threads. This one:

does, and he works almost exclusively on Sakos and Tikkas. Give him a call.

Take a look a Patriot Valley Arms, they are now making barrels with a nut for tikka, similar to savage. They will remove barrel for a small fee if you purchase a setup from them.

Tikka threads are so close to 1 inch 16 threads per inch that most American Gunsmiths just thread them 1" 16 TPI, I've done many of them and Sako's too. Both of my lathes can do Metric threads just a gear change and thread them without disengaging the Half-Nut because the lead screw is inch. There is no need to do it.

Edit to add: I just realized this thread is over fiver years old! But I'm not the one that dredged it up LOL!
