Give me some ideas for a rear bag for in the field? What are you all using specifically?:D

I use two of my old Army socks (washed first...), and acrylic beads that I got at a craft store. I filled plastic shopping bags with beads, placed them inside the stretched out socks, and tied knots in them.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I might try the sock thing to figure out what I need?
Didn't realize that there were that many commercial options out there!

Thanks again!!

No problem. The sock thing keeps the cost and weight down. I also have "sandbags" made of acrylic beads and BDU legs sewn shut. I'm really frugal. (Euphemism for "poor" :D )

Well I put together a wool sock rear bag last night and was out this morning doing some validation and that actually worked very well!!:D

Validation also went well once I turned the knob in the correct directionlightbulb
