Really stretched the 17 WSM out today.

Longest shot to date, lasered 194 yards, checked twice with same results i'm on the knoll by the trees shooting at the tree line.
This boy was dropped on his mound in his tracks, note shot right in throat DRT, I put the dot on his chin ,so the drop was about 4 inches at 200 which is right on with Hornadys ballistics calculator. I'm in love with this 17WSM.

Shot mine at a target at 500 yds had a heck of a group it was just 4 ft low still had enough power it went through the plywood and 2x4 on my target. David

I have carry behind my back seat of my pickup everywhere I go. It's easy 200yds ground squirrel rifle. It will reach farther, but I don't need it. Love the little rifle and fun to shoot. Ammo is petty easy on the pocket too. You get a lot more than a 22 mag rifle.
