Real diameter of a 56mm Nightforce?

I am getting ready to order a nightforce and would like to know how wide they really are on the widest part. I cant find these specs anyplace. Thanks

i just need someone to run a caliper over theirs for me.

for instance...i have a 6-24x50mm scope, and the actual size of the widest part is actually 57mm on the outside (bell housing i think it is called)

The bell is 2.558 inches across but the widest point is from the side focus to the windage turret which measures 3.427 inches.

I meant i needed the big front bell housing...i figured it wasnt a true 56mm...i have this scope coming and want to make sure i have the right rings to make it work on my gun...thanks again!

It's the objective BTW. The ocular is the eye piece end. 56 is probably going to be around 65 or so.

If we were all on the meter system it would be easier.....
