re-chambering 110 fcp or 110 ba for .338 lapua improved

does anyone know or have done a re-chambering of the Savage 110 FCP or the BA from .338 Lapua to the 40*improved version.i have left a message at Accurate Mag. who make and supply Savage with the bottom metal/mags.It looks like the stiffening rib in the front of the mag would need to be removed/cut out so it wouldn't hit the improved shoulder of the case.

Bump to an old thread. I would also be curious to this. I have the lrh.338 in an xlr chassis and was wanting to rebarrel to an improved? What's the verdict on this?
