Seems like Alliant has a new magnum rifle powder out called Pro 4000 MR. I assume its newer but maybe some of you have used it.

It seems like it may be a small ball spherical not unlike and similar to Ramshot Magnum and Accurate Magpro. Does anyone have any experience with it in 300 Win Mag or 7 mm Mag? Is it gonna be temperature sensitive? Seems like I read only the longer stick extruded powders are better at being insensitive in temperature changes.

What do you think if you have tried it?

Power Pro 4000MR has been around for a few years. I tried it in a 7RM with 150gr bullet and it did fine. I did not test it for temperature sensitivity and I do not think any claims are made in that regard.

I too have used it for several years and it's a solid choice for 300 and 7mag especially with mid range weight bullets for those calibers.
It's also a stellar powder for top end velocity in the 6.5 Creedmoor with the heavier bullets. It's not too temperature sensitive and I did test it a few years back.
