RCBS going Chinese?

1357Mag, who or what is ATK? Is that a person or some parent company, just curious.
Sorry for the late reply. I have been job searching for a while here. ATK, or Alliant Tech Systems owns RCBS, Federal Cartridge, Outers, not to mention a few others. They also own divisions that make up nearly all of the ammunition that is supplied to U.S. troops. My opinion of them is not very high on the list.

Sadly, it seems appropriate to post this on here..................

That reminds me. I used to work in a local woodworking factory. They laminate large sheets of particaql board with various wood grain printed paper. We had shipping crates marked "American Oak- made in Japan"

Holy cow! My wife just told me that while at the supermarket, she wanted to buy flounder fillets. Not after what she had read though. You got it, "Product of China." I wonder if they netted them off our East, or West coast?
It is no wonder that this country is in the shape it is in.

Look before you buy...look real hard especially on the internet where often an item and where it's made isn't listed (that's a good clue that it's made in chine). Why because it only has to be printed on the container the product comes in. Short story...funny now but ****ed me off when it happened. I was ordering a rocking chair on the internet for my daughter and her newborn. $149.00 and 5 days later here comes a box. I open the box and to my surprise I have to assemble this thing. Good thing there were pictures because the instructions were in chinese and the 2 tubes of whatever...I guess glue you mixed for the dowls only had chinese writing on them. Not telling anyone what or from where to buy but, I try to by American as much of the time as possible. I could give a crap about saving a few pennies or even dollars buying chinese because if it keeps up the cost to you and I in the longrun will be unimaginable. Outsourcing-It's a joke folks and it's on us.

I wish I knew that you were in the market for a rocking chair. I think I could have gotten you one from my friend who is a wood specialist. Congrats on your new granddaughter by the way!
