Ramshot TAC for .308

I just looked at some loads I made. I used 44.0 gr TAC (max book load) with a Nosler 168 CC, Nosler 2nd's brass, and a FED 210. I'm not sure of the velocity but I shot it out to 800 yards yesterday and it matched 2750 fps come ups. The nice thing about TAC is I get +/- 0.1 gr straight from the powder dropper.

Not in 308 ,but shot great in my Grendel. And as X said, once weight was set I started dropping from the powder hopper. After looking at load data I told my hunting buddy that we should be shooting tac in the .308. But he will die clutching a can of IMR 4064.
I started out with IMR 4064 and went back to it because of the powder shortage. It makes accurate rounds but I have to trickle it by hand. It gets old fast lol.

I've tried to bring him into the 21st century, but he's one of the people who say if it ain't broke don't fix it. Thought he would have a seizure when he had to use 4166 because of no 4064. As soon as I can get him some 4064 from powder valley he will be back. He sent me a text last hunting season because cell service was poor but could get a text through. his 1st ever.

I've been using Accurate 4064 in my .308 so far and it's "meh". Not the best accuracy and the charges are compressed quite a bit. I think my Tikka T3 308 can do better.

I use it also works pretty good for 150s to 168s that's the only bullets I've try it with as of right now.i have noticed that it seems to heat my barrel up quicker than other powders.

Hornady Edition 11 has TAC for 178-180 grain .308.
