Ramshot Magum

Dear fellow handloaders: Has anyone used Ramshot Magnum with the .300 win mag or 7mm rem mag? Please report how things went. How about with the .338 win with 250 grain?

Great powder for the 300 Win Mag! I also use it in my 280 AI.

Using it for my 7 Mag at the moment and it has been as good as Retumbo for speed and accuracy. My Ramshot magnum load is 3/4 MOA or less in 3 different factory Rem 700's

I was testing accurate Retumbo ,mag pro, H1000, and ramshot magnum in my wildcat 7STW. They were all good. Mag Pro was the eventual winner for what I had. Ramshot magnum is a good powder for heavy for cal rounds and longer barrels.

I load for a friends 338 win. It uses faster type powders like Ramshot hunter or reloader 19 as the go to powders

Ramshot Magnum ( also known early on as Bigboy) is a pretty decent powder in the 300win with heavies... That said, I've migrated to mid weight pills in my 300win and heavies pushed by rl33 in two different 300rum rifles I own...
