I scored 2 lbs of Ramshot Hunter and according to Western Powders load data and Hornady Edition 11 Hunter delivers good velocities for 30 06 and 6.5 Creedmoor, even faster than H4350. It's also a spherical so should meter well.

Anyone have experience with Ramshot Hunter?

It's an excellent performer in my tikka 30-06 under 155 gr lapua scenar. SD is not great but at 600ish yards it has not affected accuracy for me.

can be pushed to 3100fps accurately in my gun (factory tikka) but I prefer it closer to the 2930 node.

it's a little temp sensitive with about 1.5 fps/degree change for me. Worked up my load in the heat of summer for that reason.

I plan on shooting in my Tikka 30 06 behind 175 grain Federal Edge TLR. I'm hoping the temp sensitivity is great enough to affect POI during Tennessee's rifle season.

Hunter is a good powder for the 30-06.Burnrate is close to IMR 4831 and Reloader 19.

It's supposed to work well with 185 gr Bergers. I have a couple of pounds just for that weight class.

30-06 it was either a full case or just lightly compressed. I tried a workup before with standard primers and it looked more like a shotgun. Switched to WLRM primers and got 2770 ft/sec with a 180 Sierra pro hunter. Lowest SD's I've ever seen for 8 shots. I also threw it in the freezer to check temp sensitivity. 2770 was at 70 degrees and after 2 hours in my freezer they clocked 2760. If I had to guess the problems happen when the ambient temps get over 85-90 but it looks like it does pretty well from 70 to freezing at the very least

I use WLRM primers too.I used to use WLR and didn't see much difference between the two.I load for magnum rifles so all I buy now is WLRM primers
