Hello! I am going to be shooting 200.20x Berger's from my 300 Roy, 26" barrel 1:10 twist. I have picked up Weatherby brass, fed215m primers, 7828 ssc powder. So I have been looking at a lot of data and some say I can and some say I can't even with a "max" load. I plan on ladder testing up till I see pressure signs then back off a little, then play with seating depth but till then will do max mag length. My question is will 3k MV be realistic or do I need to be thinking more 2800-2900ish FPS MV?

I'm shooting a Savage 10r, 26" barrel, 300 win mag with 200gr eld x loaded with 72.5gr of 7828ssc and had pretty good results. 0.44" at 100yrd. I tried a hotter load but my groups opened up at 0.76. I have se more testing to do but am hoping to get it down to 0.25.
