On a 2.5-10X50 T what is that litle knob under the turret section on the left?

small housing ( knob ) is the erector spring housing , this spring allow to get the clics value stable and push the erector tube in contact with the two turret

this system can be fit on Leupold by Tucker or Ackerman ( I think ) as leupold improvement

Do not remove the cap and adjust the screw yourself! It is set at the factory.
