8 clicks will move you 2 inch at 200 and 3 inchs at 300 1 moa at 200 yrds is 2 inchs 3 three at 300 4 at 400 ect. so at 200 4 clicks = 1 inch

First, those clicks are in MOA not inches. So take .125 MOA/click and multiply by 1.047 to get a true inch per click. .125 * 1.047 = .130875" per click.
Next step is to go .130875 * (yardage/100). So for 300 yards you would use .393" per click. If you want to compensate for 12 inches of bullet drop at 300 yards you divide 12 by .393 which = 30.5 clicks. It is up to you whether you go 30 or 31 clicks.
Converting from MOA to inches is not neccesary for shorter ranges, however, when you get out there and start using alot of clicks, it adds up. It is better to convert it in most LR applications

I know what he said. I also have owned and used the BR version 1/8 MOA click scopes from nightforce. They are indeed 1/8 MOA/click. Some shooters commonly say inch vs MOA because they are so close that at 100 yards, 8 clicks for a 1/8 MOA click scope is so close to 1" that it isnt worth saying or doing anything differant. It is when you get into alot of clicks for 600 yard and beyond doping where it really adds up and should calculate for inches if youre using inches of bullet drop as apposed to MOA or mils ect...
