I ran into a similar problem and used the unprimed case with the cuts from dremel on sides. Sized case, put some lube on bullet, (not heavy) chamber it like said earlier. Give the bolt a quick lift when extracting. Carefully remove making sure not to let it drag or hit. As stated before, clean before and after if you lube. Not as much cleaning just to remove lube. I have a Savage that was tough to measure consistently. Then for reference a Tikka that was simple. Just to be sure, you know the rifle hasn't been shot a lot, right?
