The XG-50 is similar to the XP-50 with a newer 12 micron sensor and magnification of 3 - 24X instead of 2-16X. Also has a longer detection range of 2400 yards compared to 2000 yd. Less FOV with the XG at base magnification 8.8 degrees FOV vs. 12. degrees.

FYI - I have two of these units. One still in the box - I'd just as soon send you that one so this one can stay on my rifle. Rifle pictures are just more fun and give you some perspective for size and how it will look on your rifle. Darn good by the way...
