I know this style is a little throwback ...but it was VERY versatile. I really like being able to just layer with a vest under my rain gear for about 80% of my daytime activity, but on the coldest nights having the option to add the sleeves makes things much more comfortable, without having separate vest and jacket in my pack. Does anyone make these of any quality anymore? I want one with modern features like exterior and interior chest pockets, water repellent down, lightweight shell, etc. Can't find one anywhere from names that I trust. My walls blizzard pruf from the 80's has seen better days.
