The best extractor for the standard face PTG or Rem. bolt is the Mini 16. I designed that to be the width of the Sako extractor with the cross pin strength of the M-16. Our .062 bolts now have a full length .062 pin race way like the Stiller and Bat bolts. We discontinued the old style Aluminum pin We made for Gre-Tan and others, it had a design that could not be dry fired . The new design is constructed like the Tubb design that comes in the Superior Shooting bolts that we Make for David . We make four pin types now for Remington bolts , Solid steel , Fluted steel , Lite 7075-T6 with steel tip and our new Titanium fluted with stainless tip . All guaranteed to work flawlessly . All our bolts and pins have been tested by H.P. White Laboratories . Oh and by the way they tested Remington bolts . One with a Mini 16 extractor , one with a Sako extractor and the standard Rem. extractor . The Rem. and Mini held up past 175,000 Cup and the action and bolt fused and locked up with the extractors still intact . The Rem. bolt with the sako only made it to 120,000 first and 135,000 on the second try before they blew out with no case to bolt fusion . The Sako extractors where installed by two different shops and appeared to be spot on. That's why I designed the mini 16 extractors , after that test the Sakos worried me . We still make them on demand but we try to steer folks toward the Mini and max M16 type and our standard Remington Three Rings of Safety type . We make all types of bolts now so if any one has a idea on a bolt , please let me know. Thanks Dave
