PSA: Check Your Virgin Brass

Makes you wonder what factory ammo folks do to avoid this. I mean when you are cranking out rounds by the millions, checking every case could be a little time consuming.
Have a colleague who did a lot of QA/QC automation at LC. What he told me is they video inspect cases dimensionally and weigh them before loading, and video inspect and weigh after loading.
Each one. It's pretty impressive.
 
It looks like the case was too long to me. I am sure there could be other issues. I have had this same problem with Redding dies that have a maximum neck length in the die. for P7M13.
 
I have had it happen a few times over past 40 yrs.. once it was a dead bug another time cigarette butt ?
