Proof Research Glacier ti

Light weight, I gotta carry it up to 12,000 feet. Like the carbon barrel. Long range rifle. titanium is not a must, but nice.

Light, packable and "long range" is one of the hardest rifles to accomplish successfully. The lighter they are the harder they are to shoot accurately. Not saying they aren't accurate, but that they are harder to shoot accurate.

What is your definition of long range?

If you are a bit mechanicalky inclined and enojoy building things. Start with a Terminus action, buy a top quality pre-fit barrel (proof if you want) and assemble it all yourself. If the barrel is taken care of there really isn't much to hang a trigger, bed a stock and fit bottom metal. Just takes time and patience.
You can easily meet or beet the quality of the proof rifle and know that you did it yourself.

Once Proof brings back their lightweight carbon stock, very easy to build one. I did just that.

Proof carbon stock
Proof CF prefit barrel (7mm rem mag)
Defiance Anti
Hawkins BDL bottom metal
Triggertech trigger

With rings and a Bushnell LRTS 4.4-16x44 scope, I'm right at 8 pounds even.

Really like that rifle and would guess it's pretty much the same as what proof uses except the action.
