I am shooting a Bergara Wilderness Ridge 6.5 PRC. (24" barrel / 1:8 twist) and I am trying to work up some loads.
Question?
For those that load this caliber; do you load with magnum or standard primers?

I load Federal primers and I have the following primers on my bench:
GM215M (Magnum Match)
GM210M (Large Match)
210 (Large Rifle)
215 (Large Magnum Rifle)

Do you vary your primers by the powder you load with or by the charge or by the bullet weight?

Thanks for your input!

I've used CCI magnum and BR. Both work well, but SD is a little better with the BR. FPS is slightly higher with the magnum, but the lower SD is more important to me. But if I didn't have the BR, I wouldn't sweat using the magnum.

Only what the reload manual for the bullet you are shooting. That is,,,,, Sierra manual for Sierra bullets. Barnes manual for Barnes bullets, and so forth.
