I was incorrect about the date I purchased this pack. I originally had a J104 in 07'. Didn't hunt that first year with it due to a broken leg. I believe it was 08' that I bought this J107. It has the clean out for the scabbard and the light color interior so I don't know if it is considered an 08' or 09' version. Never used the top pouch. Not a bad stitch on this thing. Glen makes a great product.
