Pre-hunting dilemma - broke a screw in the mount

I couldn't find any specific forum for posting a "hunt report". But here's some pictures from the trip.
In the binocular-picture you can spot about 300 wild reindeer.
Unfortunately, my friend who took some of the pictures needed to catch a flight to Stockholm Sweden, and as we had to walk for about 10 hours to reach the car - we left 2 hours before the reindeer came to our hunting area.
The most bitter thing is that his airplane then was postponed until the next day. So we missed the party by about 2 hours.
In total, I was out for 14 days during the season which lasted from 20th August until 7th October.

Awesome country. Just having the opportunity to hunt and camp in such a remote and pristine area probably made the whole trip worth it.Adding a few more pictures. They are always funnier than text

Yeah it was great. I am Swedish, and we normally only have fields or forest terrain. So this is very exclusive for me. I was very lucky to get a hunting permit this year. Might take many years to get a new one, if unlucky.
It is a tough hunting, and it is more than 20 km (12.4 miles) and an elevation at more than 800 meters (2600 feet) just to reach the area. If you are to stay for some days, the pack weight easily reaches about 50 lbs. The weather is hard too. Possibly the worst that can be.
For the next time I go out, I will try to get my hands on an american hunting backpack with less weight in the frame.
And I still feel bad about those 2 hours that made us miss the party. But I will forgive my friend when I in the future succeed with the wild reindeers...!
