Mine is the standard SAMI spec 6.5/06 known as the 6.5 A-square...
I never checked the 2002 Patten to see what the shoulder angle is,,, but it feeds super smooth in my LH Remington model 700...
My tame hunting load shooting 140 grain'ers @ 2880 ft-per seconds from a 25" barrel is plenty for the thick skins...
Koodoos to you for trying something different if you go that route,,, I stuck with the 2002 SAMI spec to keep it simple...
