Powder increase velocity drop?

This is genuine, not snarky. Good on ya mate.

I however have experienced this numerous times. Through the course of testing the 26-Nosler "wildcats"/variants with 7 loads for each bullet and 6 or more bullets per caliber with 4 calibers that's 7*6*4 = 168 minimum different loads. I see it often.

Maybe its a "magnum" thing?

How do the spreads correlate to the changes is mv? Magnums can have big spreads outside of a node.
 
Just my thought, maybe it has everything to do with case capacity and how deep and style that the bullets seated??? maybe once you hit a point in capacity the ignition and explosion of powder work slightly against itself causing the slight fall off? efficiency = speed
