Powder funnel for 300 WSM ???

Unfortunately the Redding "universal" does not work.
Your recommendation is greatly appreciated.

Thanks. I found an extra Redding powder funnel and gave it a 5/16" tube-actomy. A little 400 grit sandpaper work, and all is well

I first time I reloaded 300 WSM was about 2004. Every funnel I had would not seat the neck in funnel against the bevel. Powder fell on the loading block when I removed the funnel. Dump the powder and start over.

I took one of my plastic funnels and drilled the hole in the funnel bevel out to I believe 9/16". Till the shoulder cleared the funnel and the neck contacted the bevel proper. Have had no problem since.

I have the Area 419 funnel with drop tube and funnel heads in 7mm and 338. Very nice gear. Zero static problems. If you want to pay the extra for something that you could pass on because it will last this would be my suggestion.

I have the Redding universal funnel. I cut about a half inch off the top of a 223 case. The "spacer" goes into the case mouth & the funnel sits on top of it. Viola. Works for 6.5 & 300 Saum.

Great idea. I should have been more patient before modifying my funnel.

I have been using the Saturn funnels for several years now and have no complaints. I have been eyeing the 419 set.

The extreme hard-core gear aluminum funnels work great for me and the 308 diameter one works great for my 300WSM cases.

MTM funnel and drop tube kit has an adapter in the set that is made for the wsm cases.

Im using the Redding for 22 hornet through 375 H & H. Zero trouble after I made the spacer to deal with the short Mag geometry.

I have used the standard RCBS, plastic funnel for years on my .300 WSM with no problems. Just make sure it is seated properly on the case mouth.
