I am just starting to reload for 6.5 RPM(using Accubonds LR 142)
Everything I see says RL25 is best,don't have any,all I have is RL26 & 4350.
Have located 2lbs of 25,if I get there in time.
Anybody else had an luck with anything else.

Theres data on the hodgdon site.
I'm going to focus on retumbo/h1k for the 140s
And Rl26 with 120-127.
Have also seen impressive velocities with vv n560

Well I was able to get a load working in the 142 ABLR. It was 30 thousands off the lands with 40 grains of hybrid 100V. Now I will start working on upping the charge weight. I may have to go back and vary the length a little but if I can keep it in that .5 inch group I'll be a happy man and the deer better watch out when I get a tag.

Comparing max loads for RL25 &26 in my 7mm Mag
I should just drop 4 grains(70 -66) so I could start at 58 ,60 62 max
Any ideas on that?

Here's some load data for a 140 partition, should be close to a 142 ABLR. They started at 62gr w/ RL25.

Thanks ,I have seen this ,just trying to compare RL 26 which I have to RL 25 which I don't.
One other question, they sat RL 26 is more temperature stable than RL 25.
What temperatures are they talking about?

I'm not familiar with the 6.5 RPM. Max loads look close to a 6.5 Sherman. If they are similar, give N570 a try with 140's. I get 3339 FPS with my Sherman and a 28" barrel. As far as R26 goes I believe it's quite stable until you get above 75-80 degrees. But don't quote me on that.

Temp stability: the rate at which velocity changed with ambient powder temp. If you're using a very temp stable powder like H1000 , you may have a 20fps spread from 20° to 90° faster fps as temp increases. If using a known temp sensitive powder like RL33 you may see 75 fps spread across that same temp swing. All cartridges will be a little different. But start with a known stable powder, and do velocity testing at the coldest and warmest scenarios you'll be shooting in to know where your load stands.

Had a friend give me 2 lbs of 7828,1 of regular 1 ssc.Started using the reg.with 264Win Mag data.I am up to 61 gr ,no sign of pressure, wondering though if I should start using mag.primers since I am over 60 gr.?Any thoughts.
